Trump Tower: Luxury Mall complete with mirrors, waterfalls and glitz

Trump Tower will draw you in with its waterfalls, glitz and luxury shops.
It is one of New York’s most visited attractions since its completion in 1983. The mixed-use tower (part apartment) was developed by Donald Trump and the Equitable Life Assurance Company. It was originally the tallest all-glass structure in Manhattan. It is still considered one of the most distinctive buildings in the world, in one of New York City’s most prime locations.
Much of the brightly-lit, 100-foot-high, atrium is lined with mirrors creating delightful visual havoc for tourists.
Visit the Trump Bar which opened in 2004 and try the "You're Fired," cocktail made with absolut peppar vodka and homemade bloody mary mix for $18. Or if you just want a light bite go to the Trump Cafe and choose from sandwiches, burgers, or pizza. Ice cream lovers will appreciate the ice cream parlor. Choose from lots of flavors including chocolate, strawberry, cookies n’ cream, cherry, vanilla and mint chocolate chip. It’s open from eight to six every day.
Trump Grill opened in 2003 and here you can enjoy classic American cuisine including prime steaks, assorted seafood, pastas, salads, sandwiches and more. Executive Chef Chris Devine designed the menu to accommodate businessmen wanting a quick lunch as well leisurely shoppers wanting a long drawn out meal.
For tourists who want to take a bit of Trump with them, visit the Trump store. The store which opened in 2003, sells lots of merchandise from the the show, Apprentice. Buy a cap, mug, or a t-shirt that says, "You're fired," for only $22. Other choices include a Trump bear, or Trump chocolate.
Luxury shoppers will love Gucci, the 46,000 square foot luxury store that spans three floors. Choose from a wide selection of luxury clothing, shoes and accessories.
HelloMetro Tip: Visit the Trump Bar Monday through Friday between 5pm and 8pm, and get half off all martinis. That includes The Limousine, which is made with Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, Sweet and Sour Mix with Fresh Lime --- normally, $22 goes for $11.
