A little history on Terry's Cozy Corner

When I was a young boy my mother worked there for a man named Joe back in 1969. In 1973 my mother and father purchased Terry's Cozy Corner to start there local venture, Ray and Lorie Lombardi. They owned it for 5 years and my mother put a lot of time, met a lot of nice people and cooked a lot of home made meals for her customers. The time has come to enjoy life a little so my mother sold it to a nice couple from Nutley in 1978. Marie and John. Where they ran the store with there children. They had the store for quite a few years before retiring in the late 90's. After that I lost track.
But I'm sure it's still a great place to eat and see old friends on a daily basis.
The reason for the story is the place has a history in Lyndhurst. It's been family owned for 40+ years. Keep eating locally and support your town.

Terry's Cozy Corner is one of those great little lunch spots where the locals and regulars hang. During school times, the neighborhood kids like to go there for lunches too.
Its small, but that's why its 'cozy' lol
They serve breakfast and lunch there.
They have quite a good menu available and the prices are very reasonable!
My hubby has been getting lunch from there while at work for over 20 years now and has his favorites-which I too, have come to enjoy since we live back this way now.
They are, the chicken fingers/chicken platter, chicken salad sandwich and their Chef Salads.
They make a great sandwich and burger platters! The tasty fries are a plus too! There's also a 'soup of the day'.
The owners are kind and very friendly.
They are open from 4:00 am till 5:00 pm on weekdays and 5:00 am till 2 PM on Saturdays-Closed Sundays.
PROS: Good eats, low prices, early morning hours, friendly
CONS: None
