Come visit this new edition to Midtown East. Sofia Wine bar is now open to the public and is serving great wines and great tapas. A fantastic spot for a romantic dinner for two or a after work drink. In the spring/summer, owner Tom DeGrezia, of DeGrezia Ristorante will open the beautiful back door to an open setting diners will love.

I love Sofia wine bar!! It is so cozy and they have one of the greatest wine selections in the city. The staff is so knowledgeable. And the FOOD OMG!! The food is amazingly fresh and delicious!! I love the pizza!! I come here all the time and I plan to continue to do so for quite some time!! Sofia Wine Bar is one of the best spots in the city!!

One of my favorite restaurants in town. They are careful about everything. Lou will make you feel like a VIP, by letting you to sample his incredible wines...
The food was very, very good...try the planks...you won't be disappointed...
Great atmosphere, great music at the perfect volume, caring staff...I went there last month for the first time and have been back 3 times since.
Absolutely rocks.

Cozy and nicely decorated, this place makes you feel right at home. A friendly and informative waiter was very helpful with suggestions, recommendations, and even some "tasting". Almost too many wines to choose from, but it's just another reason to return. Highly recommended,even for novice wine lovers!! Can't wait for the alfresco seating!!!!!

Great place for after work drinks. Waiter / service was excellent. Friendly staff. Good music kept at a reasonable volume for holding a decent conversation. What can I say, just the perfect place to go after work with a few friends to chat, snack, drink and unwind.

Sofia?s hip-but-classic design is warm and inviting. Things I liked: exposed brick, handsome & comfortable wood carved chairs, engraved crystal wine glasses, extensive wines by the glass or bottle ? tasty and delicious plates of food - good presentation - reasonable price ? European style service ? mixed with great background music combine for one of the best nights out in a long time. I felt as though I was on a date with my husband ? the place really got us going ? I hope he takes me back soon. Loved it!
Pros: Just a flat out great date place
