Vessy Jivkova A 1.5-2-hour guided tour takes place daily with no end date. Tour leaves from Washington Square at 11AM. On the map of the tour are 12 historic locations. Among them are the Erie Canal, Susan B Anthony House, Harriett Jacobs - author of the book Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, Harriett Tubman - intelligence officer for the Union during the Civil War, Ida B Wells-Barnett - abolitionist and Chicago newspapers' publisher. Tour includes costumed actors playing Helen Pitts - Douglass, Blanche Calloway, Ida B Wells-Barnett and more. Step-on-your vehicle guide available for a fee $125. Speaker for one-hour presentations is $75.
