What can you say about New York City in a summary? So many centuries . . . . Dang! It’s been the largest city in the country since 1790. That says a lot. All things – almost – like streams, find their head waters in New York City . When you think about it, that makes things easy. It’s like one-stop shopping for travelers. At one time, Ellis Island was the front porch to the U.S.A. for European immigrants. Personally, I love midtown Manhattan and Central Park. And, since less is more, I'll just remark that New York City is, as Levon Helm says in The Last Waltz, “a real adult portion.” 'Nuff said. Come visit.
