Create Charter School Reviews

The problem is that Create is in a bad neighborhood!!! The school itself is fine. I love their new uniforms!!! They seem to have worked out most of their start up kinks.

If you have any friends that live in a better neighborhood, or alternet resources keep looking, for parents with higher standards. They have an insane lateness policy that I've never experienced in either private catholic or public school, that causes out of school suspensoions and missed class time for the students. The policy isn't advantages to either the student's progress or the progress of the school in performance. Individually there are good staff members that do a good job with what limited resources they have. The curiculam is far below the more competiative schools, that well prepare students for college.

CREATE needs a tougher curriculum. The work isn't challenging. They have a great basketball team, cheerleading squad, and numerous extra-curricular activities though. Students don't really have a say so in the school. Whatever goes, just goes. CREATE disciplines its students but they need guidance. The school needs stability. They need more teachers and better guidance.
