St. Joseph School Reviews

St. Joseph of Maplewood is an excellent school. My daughter will be entering her third year, where she started in kindergarten. The discipline level is great, the cirriculum is both understanding and challenging, and the extracurricular activities can be both fun and educational. I'm so proud of the education that my daughter has and will receive with St. Joseph of Maplewood Elementary School.

This school is a great school to start-k thru 5. My daughter had a good foundation starting here at ST. Joseph. It is a family atmosphere. My daughter never saw a fight at school a day in her life! THat's rare... The principal handles concerns and issues in a professional manner. They pray before they start each day and they learn about God. However, the curriculum is not challenging enough for advanced students. Once you get passed the 4th grade, the turnover rate is terrible. Teacher come and teachers go. They also lack extracurriculum activities. My daughter is very athletic and she desires to participate in sports. My daughter has attended school here from k thru 5th grade. It's time to move on. Looking to move her elsewhere for 6th grade.

My daughter is now in the 5th grade. I am particularly happy with the Art, Music and Gym programs. They provide a quality education at a reasonable price

This is my daughter's first year at the school. SHe is currently in Kindergarten. So far I have no complaints. She's learning and doing well academically. She has a music class, spanish class and takes gym twice a week. She comes home happy everyday.

I have two children who attend St. Josph. I am very happy with their teachers and the administrators. My first grader wanted to stay and not go to public school and because of the family atmosphere I continued him there. We are happy our children learn about Jesus in school since there is no religion in public schools. I feel comfortable with the education they are receiving however I would like to see more advance classes or enrichment for the gifted children. If they could incorpporate this in the regular school or even after school that would be a plus. I would not mind paying extra tuition because we already pay for enrichment anyway. My children receive Spanish, gym and computer learning starting at 4 years old. I think St. Joseph is the best kept educational secret in our area.

St Joseph Schools is an excellent place to start the foundation for your child's development. They have an excellent staff as well as a very detailed curriculum. This year will be my oldest child's 5th year and it will be the middle one's 3rd. They are always willing to work with you when they can.
