St. John School Reviews

So far I am very pleased with St. John's. My child is in kindergarten and the teacher and aide are wonderful.

I have three children in the school and I am very pleased with it. The children who graduate from the eight grade have all been accepted into the catholic high schools, many in their honors programs, as well as Bergen Academies. They obviously are doing something right. If you want your kids to get a little discipline and be a little sheltered in a good way, then this is the right school for you. I would be proud to recommend it to anyone looking for a catholic education and it is also the best priced school tuition wise in the area.

teachers here're very warm, nice and intimate. they send christmas cards for several years after kids graduated from this school

In a time of economic downfall, it is not wise to spend one's money for such pitiful education. I have attended this school for many years. After graduating, I realized that the world was much bigger and there were much more opportunities in various subjects and majors. This school shelters children in such a degree where young adults cannot go out and do greater things on their own when they reach high school. Moral behavior is strictly enforced and I believe that it is too much a part of the curriculum that it limits the full educational experience of the student. Getting accepted to a good college is essential to one's future work, life, and living. Indeed, this school fails to prepare young adults on the journey to high school, where they will ultimately aim for higher goals in college and find their true vocation.

This school has excelled in the past and continues to excel. My older children were commended for their verbal skills and proper use of English. My daughter's French teacher said she was the only student who could understand French verbs because she understood grammar. Math and science skills are well-honed. Yet, I am most pleased with the 'life lessons' learned here, the acceptance of self and others, and the diversity at St. John's. There is not a better school for the money in Bergen County.

I think this school has improved in the last few years. The discipline is much better. My children are very happy and are thriving in Saint John's School.

We just started school and it has been very bad. The teacher of my grade is very annoying. We can't expand our world. The school is very good until 7th grade.

I sent my daughter from grades K-5. I loved it up until 5th grade. The school is too sheltered and does not allow it's students to grow up as individuals. I would not recommend it.
