St. Ann School Reviews

st anns is amaGing ima student there and mr maZellaa is like a second dad hes always been there for me and i wish he would never leave this man is more thab a principle hes family to many people once you meet him youll know whay a great person he . mr mazella honestly id be goin no wear w. out you thankk you for evrry thing

This school need to keep the kids inrested, to many parents that think they run the school work there, and to many teachers that need to move on and helpers that think they are teachers.

This school is very good and Mr.Mazella is very nice to me and the rest of the kids and the teachers are also great people. All of the kids in the school are also nice to one another and everyone knows everyone because there isnt over 400 kids in the school and i love this school very much!

I have been a parent of st anns for 15 years .I love the school the teachers are wonderful and truly care about their students. Mr Mazella is by far the best principal a school could ever have not only does he love his school, but his students are treated as if they are his family. He is truly concerned about them beyond school hours. For all the parents who think St. Anns is not a good school I can not imagine what you are comparing it to. They education you get from a school is important and i think my children got a very good education my oldest daughter is in the process of getting her masters degree in counseling in which she has graduated with honors and my second daughter has a 96 average in scholars in st john villa so as far as education I am satisfied.

I think this school is wonderful. The teachers are very nice to the children. My son has been in this schhool for a long time. The principal is a great person and i think the church of the school is very good. Most of the priests at this school come over and talk to the children.I am happy i sent my child to this school..

I am a former student of St.Ann's. I must say the curiculum is great and the teachers are nice but the children are stuck up and the parents are the same. The after school activities can be improved by getting a bigger variety other than basketball and baseball/softball. Also, although the teachers are nice, some of them have just stayed there way to long. Teachers should let the students have the ability to learn and study more of a topic taught then learn a topic one day and have a test on it the next.

the pre-school seems to be wonderful. my child is thrilled and looking forward to going each day. when i was a kid growing up in a Catholic school I didn't get any homework and never challenged. so hopefully the kids won't be too overwhelmed when they reach higher grades yet be challenged.

This school is about taking notes and having a test 2 days later. That children in this school have a test almost everyday, when ask why they said we need the marks. The kids are not learning like this. They take notes and sent home to study them for a test.

It really is ashame that this school has such negative reviews. I just started my child in this school and I am uncomfortable having my child remian in this school. Course overload is not the only way to edcucate our students. Change is important and that sounds like a good idea with this school. Parent should have more input in their childrens education. Please value others opinions....

Thank goodness this year is over I have never had so much work to do. (yes the parent). So much take home work & projects I had to do a big part of it. The teachers are not that nice and really don't care much for the children's needs.I wish I had a choice my kids are almost done.

The children get to many test almost eveyday , study and do 2 hours of homework, they really are not learning from this.

The school is well managed by a principle that cares for his students and teaches. When 8th grade students consistentley score high on the TACS exam that says a lot for the teaches and principle.

The preschool is focused and organized. The children learn one letter and one number each day and there are crafts as well as circle time. The teachers are competent however the teacher's assistants are not patient with the children and are sometimes too strict. It is forgotten that their charges are merely 3 or 4 years old.

This school could be improved greatly. They need to have some young, new teachers. Teachers in this school never leave. They use the same materials, tests and assignments year after year. The principal is very closed minded and is not open to any suggestions. Some of the teachers are not qualified. If you are a parent and hang around long enough, they become part of the staff. This school leaves much to be desired.
