Number 6 Elementary School Reviews

My experience with the middle school has been wonderful. My child belongs to the debate team and the yearbook committee. Teachers are always available by phone, conference, or email. Maybe the parents who are complaining are simply finding that thier children are not adjusting to the choices that the middle school offers. Encourage your child to join clubs ot sports. All teachers offer extra help - take advantage of it. You can and should help your child find their way - but ultimately, they must start taking on more responsibility for their achievements.

I totally agree with the comment that the 'School is lacking in many areas'sadly disagree with the comment (Which sounds like something one of the teachers who are non-parentental involement would say) kids in this school are just a number, another face lets get through the year and push them though just like an assembly line! Children develop at their own pace and nobody Knows their child better than the parent and as long as my child is considered a 'minor' a school should work with the parents in any and all aspects,This is why so many American children lack the support they need to succeed not only in school but in life.A sence of Family support is key to development.Any teacher who dosen't understand that should find another career, and away from my child unfortunatly sums up alot of the teachers at this school!

This school is sadly lacking in so many areas. Absence of strong, efficient leadership, a majority of the teachers are tenured, disinterested and too few dedicated, committed ones. Overcrowded classrooms, a rough crowd and theft amongst the students. I cannot wait for my child to gradute from this unacceptable, failing institution. She will definitely NOT be attending the HS which is equally dismal( a 4 out of 10).

The school countinues into the Middle school (7-8)maybe the site should undate this info, because they seem to elude the negative comments!Run!!The Middle school is not pro parent involment at all in fact they are down right insulting when you try to 'parent' When ever your child is enrolled in a school and the staff do not want to inform,include,etc.etc.a parent and ask scarcsticly 'How old is your child' RUN!!

This school is amazing! It has a wonderful faculty and staff that are very dedicated to the students. The population if this school is diverse: many ethnicities, religions, learning abilities, and language skills. The students are all catered to and cared for. My daughter is thriving in the middle school and had a very wonderful and respectful group of friends. Her academic confidence is growing daily and she is bringing home excellent grades and sharing meaningful experiences. She is also involved in sports and drama club!

I think this school is okay.It may not be the best, but it is not the worst. There are a lot of activities and programs. They also have classes for students that need help and for those who re above regular classes.

Worst school ever! It is too late for improvements and is led by weak-minded teachers. Absolutely no discipline. My daughter became involved with bad children. In my opinion, if you have the money to, send your child to a catholic school or private school. Anywhere but Cliffside! The entire school system is corrupt!

The quality of the program I would give them a 5 (from 1-10). There is no extracurricular activities for the kids in pre-K or kindergarten The after school program is run by an outside organization. There is an PTA in the school, their activities and initiatives are very limited. The Principal is always available to discuss any school issues w/parents.
