Ridgewood Avenue School Reviews

Ridgewood Avenue is a great school in one of New Jersey's BEST school districts. My daughter has been at RAS for two years and had two lovely, helpful and caring teachers. Her school work is relevant and challenging. I am proud of all my daughter has learned at RAS.

Student homework consists of largely worksheets and little creative and or research work given. The administration is inflexible and unresponsive. There has not been a science fair to my knowledge in the school, but there are an abundance of frivilous 'fund raiser' activities.

The administration are unsupportive and their favorite word appears to be 'no!'

Way too much pressure on the students to 'prepare' them academically. They do not support the whole child and do not respect family time. Weekend homework in addition to an overload of homework during the week is the norm. The staff and administration are inflexible and minimally supportive should you have any problems.
