Bradford School Reviews

I have to say that our experience with the school has not been a positive one. We feel that there is a lack of communication. Our son has had several issues, however we did not find out about them until quite awhile after they have occurred. This was our first choice, however I have to say that we are unhappy and disappointed to say the least.

My son attended has attended K and 1st grade at Bradford. We have been very happy with his teachers - their commitment to the children goes above and beyond what I would have expected at any public school. There is a high degree of parental involvement, and we have developed strong friendships with many of the families in the school. The facilities are great as well.

We're extremely happy with Bradford! One unique thing about the school is they have a large number of student teachers from Montclair State in their classrooms. For our son, this translated into a lot of personal attention, especially in math, where he excells (in comparison, he was at a different school last year and often complained of being bored). Also, the parents and other families we've met are lovely -- very warm and down to earth, and there is a lot of parental involvement. The new addition to the school, and especially the new library, is beautiful!

Bradford was our second choice of school but my husband and I are happy with our second choice. overall, The school has a great academic program. One of the second grade teacher Ms. Grubenman is an awsome teacher. She cares and she is concerned about the students well being. Great nurse, she is excellent with providing the students their medication on time. The school is also a great facility with some excellent fifth grade teachers Ms. Freeh and Mr. M.. They work together and provide extra assistance to the basic. I am impressed with the support service that my children receive from Bradford School. Antoine.

The teachers and administration in this school are second to none. I have had 3 children go through this school in the past few years

We have been very pleased with Bradford. They have a great facility with some great teachers. We just wish they had a more extensive music program.

Bradford was our second choice school. After being at the school for two years, I can honestly tell you we are thrilled that we didn't get our first choice. The school is incredibly well-rounded even without the MSU partnership. Ms. Vitone is a great principle and totally supports the teaches (as she should). I had to meet with her one time and I was impressed with her sensitivity toward my issue.

this is the first year my son has attended the school however from what i have experienced the school is excellent. They have a partner program with msu that is like no other i have seen before. The PTa is also one of the most goal orienayed group i have ever dealt with. The children learn sign language and speak spanish as early as kindergarden.

My husband and I are thrilled with our kindergarten's son experience so far at Bradford. His classmates range from fluent readers to those still learning the alphabet, but the teacher manages to keep everyone engaged by clustering kids according to reading ability. She goes above and beyond the call communicating to parents, too, by sending a comprehensive weekly class newsletter home with the kids. Sometimes, it's two pages long! The principal is lovely; she's always smiling and seems to want to get to know each child. My son loves school!

Really good school. Curriculum is excellent. Clean, quiet well maintained school. Principal not as attentive to parents needs as she is with the children. Wonderful nurse. Overall very organized.

Excellent experience for my sons. Lots of attention to the basics, and very creative activities.
