The school atmosphere is nurturing and equality is promoted, perhaps at the expense of identifying and cultivating the intellectual strengths of the students. A number of parents I've spoken with are considering putting their kids in private schools as they have seen little progress in certain subject areas. This is not to say the children aren't learning anything at all--they learn to commit 'random acts of kindness', to work in teams, to help each other. But if your child is already above grade-level in certain subjects don't expect him/her to add to this knowledge or ability unless you do it on your own.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2007-10-23 “I have been consistently impressed by the caring nature and quality of education provided by Grandview school.
