Bayview Avenue School Reviews

The Bayview Avenue School is a nuturing environment for all students. All staff members are strongly committed to providing the best instruction for students, whether they are in need of academic support or thirsting for enrichment. It is not unusual for staff to give freely of their own time to work collaboratively in planning curriculum and lessons that motivate our students to succeed. Our PTA and Site Based Management Team meet regularly to plan and organize after school, and evening activities that are well attended by students, families and staff. It is no surprise that Bayview has been recognized as a high performing gap closing school. It is an honor to be part of this educational institution.

I have a 2nd, and 3rd grader currently attending Bayview, and I have to say that the staff is great and the teachers are Excellent!!!!!! The only thing lackig is an after-school program for all grades..

I am a single mom of five boys and my 9,8,&7 year old is in Bayview, and being I am careful how my kids are treated and taught and comfortable, well Bayview is the school the principal knows all students and acknowledge each and every child whether there is an issue or an accomplishment. I feel like the staff at this school allow kids to feel as if they are in a comfortable environment., all kids are treated as if they are the children of the staff.. my son's have improved so much academically that it helps me out knowing the hard part is taking care of each and every day by the wonderful staff at Bayview arts and science. Thank You staff

A good school with ample resources. Class size is approximately 24:2. Diverse demographics. Great PTA involvement. Principals are committed. School performs above NYS averages.
