Should a situation or problem occur, the Principal is always available and will take the time to sit down with you and discuss your concerns. She is truly dedicated and will do whatever it takes to comfort you and your child. She sees to it that our children come first and foremost when additional help and/or resources are needed. This is our fourth year at PS 31Q, if there were any serious issues, concerns or problems do you think that we would keep both of our children in this School? They will not listen to the student and parents if there are complaints. The scholl is well oraginzed. The teachers is are good with kids I think they make school very fun. We have big shows and a chours groop and this year we are doing a show called Guys and Dolls. The BIG shows are always at the end of the yaer but, you fell like your at a brodway show. The close-knit community feeling supplied by the teachers we came in contact with made my child want to please. She put extra effort into her work because of the excitement and encouragement from the teachers. The afterschool programs are wonderful and varied, giving children of all ages interesting and fun new subjects or activities in which to excel. After six years in this school, it was hard to say goodbye. How often do children say they had FUN in school? PS 31 in Bayside nurtures a child's desire to learn by engaging the whole child. The teachers are friendly, yet firm. The curriculum thorough, yet interesting.
