The teachers are ok, but do not have a real connection with the students. I am glad I took my child out. This school is not worth it. It was worth a short trip on the cold winter days. They cannot speak or contact a parewnt without the approval of the principal. At the same time the parent coordinator does what work there other than planning family bowling night. She and the staff at this school is very disrespectful and very unorganize. I agree when parents say this has a a big change and not for the better. I am a parent of this school for 3y and i have not seen any improvements. They are more concerned about kids wearing their uniforms than there education and behavioral problems. My childs so called had a behavioral problem since sept. but didn't tell me until open school day of the following year. remind you he is only in pre k. So they had months to either call or write a letter to inform me of his problem. His reading and math skills have approved so much since he started attending there. There is no open school evening for parents that cannot take off work during the daytime. I have a child attending the school now and I'm looking to take her out immediately, I think her teacher is not fully qualified and the schools principal is not taking the children's academics as first priority. I had a meeting with my child's teacher, by appointment, the teacher had no documentation, running records, test scores, notes, nothing to show me and back up her comments, and the principal was present for half of the meeting, so I take it she found her teachers unorganized approach to meeting a parent acceptable. I would not recommend this school.”
